The Corner #6 How many sources of information do you have? Do you read from the left, the center, the right and the back? Are you aware of who's behind your news? Do you critique the media for bias, balance and accuracy? Who owns and/or wants to own the media? Who will own the Internet? Do you ever discuss these things with your friends or family? How many new ideas have you seen lately? How many magazines have your read lately? How many new ideas have changed you lately? In an information society, only the fit will thrive. In the tangle of messages, the signal to noise ratio should be identified and adjusted for, like the fade/balance on your car stereo. Try a lot of bass; try a lot of treble; EQ until you reperceive; then try it again. |
