The Corner #22 I took a small look in that fold that was my wallet. Gone was the green, replaced by poly wafers striped black for swiping. Feeling lucky that my swipe was still potent, I could hear down the Wasatch Valley their plaintive scream, "I'm outmanned, outgunned, outcashflowed, outfinanced,...." Music alights only briefly in the distance; is it the calvary come to call? Or some pioneer spirit on the loose? Conference is the lead story.... In the race between life and debt, who will be the winner? |
