The Corner To All Parents There's a little voice inside you, that was programmed in your youth. As much as you try to de-program or devolve it...out it comes, as though you are the first wax cylinder recording back in Menlo Park playing in scratchy hand-cranked tones, Thomas Alva Edison at its controls. "Mary had a little lamb. It's fleece was white as snow. How do you ask for something? Close the lid, please. Is that an indoor voice? Etc." Just makes me think if I even realize what I'm saying half of the time to my little one. Hold on, please.... |
